helmi marleena is a new wave singer-songwriter who has quickly risen to become one of the most interesting newcomers in the Finnish indie scene. The artist is nominated in three categories at this year’s Emma Gala: Newcomer of the Year, Alternative of the Year, and Audience’s Choice.
Her debut EP, sydän sydän sydän, released in late 2025, includes the gold-streamed single Syntymämerkit, which features Asla Jo. Her music paints beautiful, authentic pictures of loving, longing, and humanity. On stage, helmi marleena creates an intimate, touching, and deeply emotional atmosphere with her folk ballads.
