Puistojuhlat will be held on July 2–3, 2026

Puistojuhlat is a grand experience on a human scale. This two-day park festival offers excellent live performances and high-quality, unique restaurants. Focused on pop, rap, and indie music, the event brings roughly ten top artists to Lounaispuisto in Jyväskylä.

Puistojuhlat takes place in Lounaispuisto, located in the Yläkaupunki area of Jyväskylä. The atmospheric and culturally significant Lounaispuisto has been known as a festive park since the 1880s.

Welcome to the enchanting summer evening at Lounaispuisto!

The event is organised by Jyväskylä Festival, the oldest continuously organized urban festival in the Nordic countries.

Thursday ticket: 64 € (standard) / 54 € (pensioner / unemployed / student / civilian service / conscript / all-ages area)

Friday ticket: 59 € (standard) / 49 € (pensioner / unemployed / student / civilian service / conscript / all-ages area)

2-day ticket: 99 € (standard) / 84 € (pensioner / unemployed / student / civilian service / conscript / all-ages area)

The main event area has an age limit of 18+. A dedicated Picnic Hill, suitable for visitors under the age of 18, is located in an excellent spot that also offers access right up to the front of the stage.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION ABOUT TICKETS

The Puistojuhlat online store accepts the most common Paytrail payment methods, as well as Epassi and Smartum Pay. Edenred works through Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, instructions for payment can be found here.

We sell a limited number of tickets to Puistojuhlat. We recommend buying your ticket in advance to avoid congestion. Tickets are non-refundable. Changes to the program and other content are possible. If the festival has to be cancelled, the ticket price will be refunded for the purchased tickets (no service or delivery fees).

Be prepared to prove your right to a discounted ticket at the festival’s event gate.

An assistant can attend Puistojuhlat free of charge together with the person they are assisting.

If you still feel like dancing after the festival evening, you can head over to Freetime for the official Puistojuhlat afterparties! On Thursday, July 2nd, Freetime will host the iconic Jytää ja iskelmää, and on Friday, July 3rd, the Freetime afterparty continues with great beats.

Official Puistojuhlat Afterparties @ Freetime: Thu July 2nd and Fri July 3rd, starting at 22:00 (10 PM). Tickets: At the door only: 12 € / With a Puistojuhlat wristband: 8 €. Age limit of Afterparties: 18+ (K18).

Schedule in written form: Thursday, July 2nd, gates open at 5:30 PM. Artists will perform in the following order: Muuan Mies (6:00 PM-6:45 PM), J. Karjalainen (7:30 PM-8:45 PM), emma & matilda (9:15 PM-10:25 PM) and Maustetytöt (10:45 PM-11:45 PM). Gates close at 12:30 AM.

On Friday, July 3, the gates will open at 5:00 PM. The artists will perform in the following order: keiju (6:00 PM-6:45 PM), helmi Marleena (7:15 PM-8:00 PM), aaro630 (8:30 PM-9:30 PM), Ursus Factory (10:00 PM-11:00 PM) and MELO (11:45 PM-12:45 AM). The gates will close at 1:30 AM.

Puistojuhlat is held in Lounaispuisto Park in Yläkaupunki area, Jyväskylä. The street address of Lounaispuisto is Minna Canthin katu 11, 40100.

Parking near the festival area is limited, but you can easily access the festival by bus, bike, on foot or by electric scooter.

There are two entrances to the festival area: the main entrance and the age-limitless entrance. With the standard ticket, you can use both entrances. Cloakrooms are also available at both festival entrances. Cloakroom fee is 5 €.

The age-limitless ticket allows entrance only to the age-limitless area of Puistojuhlat. Strollers and prams cannot be brought into the age-restricted area. The age-restricted area is located in the park’s stands on the lower platform in front of the stage, and may not be suitable for the youngest in the family.

Lounaispuisto park is located on an irregular, downhill surface, and unfortunately the park is not fully accessible by wheelchair. Your assistant is allowed to enter the festival area without charge. There is an accessible bathroom at the festival area.

There is a first aid point and first aid staff on the premises. If you notice an accident or any other safety issue, please report it immediately to the security personnel.

A harassment contact person will be on duty in the festival area. This person acts as a support individual whom you can approach if you experience harassment at the event. The harassment contact person is not an authority, and in cases where a crime is suspected, you should always contact the police. During Puistojuhlat, the harassment contact person will be on duty in Lounaispuisto, near the first aid tent. You can identify them by a blue vest with “häirintäyhteyshenkilö” (harassment contact person) written on the back.

If you have been in a situation at the Puistojuhlat where you have been treated inappropriately or have encountered harassment, you can also report your experience to us using the form. You can fill out the form anonymously, or if you want us to contact you, you can leave your contact information.
The form will be opened before the start of Puistojuhlat.

PRINCIPLES OF SAFER SPACE AT Puistojuhlat

  • Respect the personal physical and mental space of others.
  • Be kind to others. Pay attention to your choice of words.
  • Be open to others. Do not make assumptions about anyone’s sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, socioeconomic background, health or ability to function.
  • Apologize if you have intentionally or unintentionally offended others.
  • If you witness harassment or inappropriate behavior, intervene in the situation. You can also report what you see to the harassment contact person, a security guard or other festival staff.


The principles of safe space are a good tool for how we can each influence the atmosphere and safety of events through our own actions and be more considerate of other people. The principles of safer space at Puistojuhlat have been made in accordance with the UN Alliance of Safe Space Principles.


Bringing your own alcoholic beverages and items that may pose a safety risk to the event venue is strictly prohibited.


There is a separate smoking area in the area. Smoking is prohibited in front of the stage, in the stands and in the immediate vicinity of the event tents.

  • transport and photography helicopters
  • clothing resembling security vests


PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY


Photography of performances and bringing SLR cameras into the area is permitted. Videography of performances is prohibited without separate permission.


Accreditation for the Park Festival opens in the spring.


FOODS AND DRINKS


You are allowed to bring one unopened or empty soft drink or water bottle of up to 0.5 liters into the area. There is a water point in the area where you can fill up the bottle. The drink bottle must be clear and transparent. You are also allowed to bring small snacks into the area.

Puistojuhlilla on jälleen tarjolla huikea tarjonta erilaisia ruoka- ja juomatuotteita. Ravintolatasanteen teltoistamme löydät monipuolisesti herkullista vatsantäytettä ja juomia janon sammukkeeksi.

Ravintolatasanne kuuluu festivaalialueen anniskelualueeseen, joten sinne ei valitettavasti pääse ikärajattomalla lipulla. Myös ikärajattomalle alueelle on kuitenkin järjestetty pääsy ravintolapalveluihin. Piknik-rinteeltä löytyy juomamyyntipiste, josta voi ostaa monipuolisesti erilaisia alkoholittomia juomia.

PUISTOJUHLIEN MYYNTIPISTEET

Puistojuhlat own sales points serve at four different points. You can grab a quick refreshing drink or snack at the sales points! The points are located around Lounaispuisto:

  • Bar Puisto: Two quick sale points offering Laitila brewery products, Puistojuhliat signature beer, wine, shots and other refreshing refreshments, including carefree ones. In addition, snacks are available.
  • Puistokioski: An age-restricted sales point offering snacks and Laitila non-alcoholic refreshments.
  • Bar Kokemuspuisto: Part of the iconic Kokemuspuisto! Laitila beer on offer, a twinkle in the corner of your eye.

SEMMA

Better food. Better festivals. 

Burger for you and burger for me – at Puistojuhlat! Semma will take care of the festival crowd’s hungry bellies and hydration throughout the event. The food tent will be open in Lounaispuisto on both festival days until midnight. Mouth-watering burgers (including vegan ones), snacks for those with a smaller appetite, and a selection of cold refreshments are available.

HANGAROUND & NOBODY BREWING 

Hangaround & Nobody Brewing is a Jyväskylä-based itinerant brewery founded by Eetu and Pekka out of their passion for beer. The operation began as a home brewery in 2016, and commercial brewing began in 2018. The beers are brewed at the United Gypsies Brewery in Lohja.

The brewery’s philosophy is to make simple and enjoyable beers with a relaxed approach – humor, creativity and unique names are an essential part of the brand. At the park party, the selection will definitely include ale, sour, IPA and lager. And yes, we also have cider!

DELOREAN

DeLorean is a pretty awesome cocktail bar in the center of Jyväskylä, in the Kauppalaispiha. 

In addition to wooden shoe jokes, we offer world-class mixed drinks with and without alcohol at the park party.

STREET 15

The restaurant, which strives for avant-garde flavors, surprises with its food, beer, and drinks. There is a delight for both the taste and the eyes!

ART GELATO

Delicious and mouth-watering, Italian-style artisanal ice creams will charm you with their flavor combinations! Unique gelatos and sorbets will take your tongue by storm, and are the perfect addition to a fading summer evening.

CAFE CITIKKA

Craving a coffee? The atmospheric and unique Cafe Citikka, set up in an old car, will serve festival-goers throughout Puistojuhlat! At Cafe Citikka you can enjoy organic coffee from Papu roastery, tea, blueberry cake, cookies and Laitila non-alcoholic soft drinks.

FOCCAVAUNU

The unique Focca wagon offers a variety of delicious Focca breads to satisfy your taste buds! In addition to stuffed Focca breads, we also offer delicious loaded fries and Laitila non-alcoholic soft drinks.
